- The PondMaster Ultraviolet Water Claifier is one of the few UV lights that can be used under water as well as externally. Colored black to hide against liner and melt into the landscape these small units are perfect for the small pond. Three different models to choose for ponds ranging from 50 gallons to 1400. Unit comes complete with transformer, 9000 hour lamps and barb fitting to quick installation.
PLEASE NOTE: This product makes what we consider outrageous claims. It actually states on the literature that this UV is "Designed to handle the clarifying needs of ponds up to 6000 gallons." Our experience shows that, in real situations, the most you hope to clear with this unit is 1800 gallons in shady conditions using the 40 watt model. We are listing below OUR recommendations that are more realistic and, if installed correctly and with proper flow, these units will perform well to the standards that WE list below.
