Get rid of green pond water once and for all! The 65 watt Smart UV comes with both 1 1/2" PVC Quick Disconnect Unions and 1" Barb fittings so it can be set up for either application.  The 3" tube that houses the lamp and quartz sleeve is several feet long and can be cumbersome to work with.  The good thing about it is that the water has more time over the lamp but it does require more space than most UVs.  

A model is available with a WIPER that cleans the outside of the quartz sleeve for just a little more.  Purchase a custom made EZ Emperor By-Pass for easy installation of your 65 watt UV. 

Dimensions:  The 65 watt unit is 70 1/2" long with a 3" diameter tube body.

Pond Doc's Ratings: The 65 watt Smart UV is perfect for ponds in the sun from 1800 to 2600 gallons - and in the shade it can work on ponds up to 3000 gallons.  The flow rate should be between 900 and 1300 gallons per hour.

Note:  The 65 watt unit is extremely long which makes it difficult to change out the lamp and quartz sleeve without breaking them.  You may want to check out the 80 watt unit instead.  It's more UV and less problems for just a little more money!
