The 2 inch inverted vacuum bottom recirculation drain is the answer for those who want to retro-fit an existing koi pond or water garden that is currently using a submersible pump so that an external pump can be used instead.  The 2" inverted vacuum bottom drain connects to 2" hard PVC with no adaptor needed.  You will need a check valve along with the inverted bottom drain to prevent backflow problems.  Let us make it easy for you to install.  The EZ Fit Inverted Bottom Drain Upgrade Option includes the check valve and connects easily to 2" hard PVC pipe.

Pros: No need to cut liner to install.  Will pull out majority of leaves and larger debris.

Cons: Can suck up baby fish and fish smaller than 6".  Does not do as good of a job as a conventional re-circulating bottom drain.
