Item #CP-OCF - Ocean Clear Pond and Large Aquarium Filter 

This is the Pond Doc's favorite "little" filter because it performs soooo well.  It's simple and sturdy.  Fill it with whatever media you want to create the filter for whatever application you need and install it either under water or outside the pond.  This filter is truly versatile.  

The 12" diameter Ocean Clear cannister is made of tough, thick, clear plastic that can withstand pressures of up to 1200 gph and can be filled with a variety of materials to create the filtration you need.  The unit comes with your choice of 1" or 3/4" flex hose fittings and can be installed either submersed in the pond or externally.  The top easily screws off for removing and cleaning the media inside.

Use it as a total filtration solution for fish ponds or water gardens of up to 500 gallons or, by changing the materials inside, use it to control the pH or catch the finest particles in the water.  Order it with your choice of media or no media at all so that you can fill it with your own.

Fits 9" round media pads.  Replacement pads are available in 3 different thicknesses.

Standard Filter:  The Ocean Clear filter comes standard with a layer of bio-balls on the bottom and 5 each 1" thick 9" diameter media discs.

Doc's Choice Option:  Contains a layer of bio-balls on the bottom and 4 each media discs of varying thicknesses and textures.  There is a small upcharge for this option due to more expensive materials used.

Empty Cannister Option:  This is if you would prefer to fill the filter with your own materials.  Hint:  You can fill the cannister with marble chips to create a natural pH stabilizer for ponds up to 15,000 gallons!
